We’re excited to announce the successful completion of the Ethical Robotics Workshop held on July 19, 2025, at Effort Manar, organized by Vishishta Innovators Pvt. Ltd. The event brought together 242 enthusiastic students for a full day of hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and thoughtful discussion about the responsible use of technology.

Workshop Highlights

Learning with Purpose

The workshop aimed to introduce students to the world of robotics, while encouraging them to consider the ethical implications of technological innovation. The curriculum blended theory with practice, ensuring students not only understood how robots work but also how their use affects society.

Topics covered included:

  • Introduction to Robotics – What robots are and how they impact daily life

  • DC Motors – Basics of motor function and control

  • Generators – How electricity is generated and applied

  • Motors vs. Generators – Understanding their differences

  • Real-World Applications – Robotics in industries, healthcare, homes, and public services

These sessions

gave students a solid foundation in both the mechanics and moral responsibilities of emerging tech.

Interactive Session: Race Bot Challenge

One of the most exciting parts of the day was the Race Bot Challenge, where students formed teams to build and race line-following robots. This hands-on activity helped them:

  • Assemble robot kits from scratch

  • Practice wiring and circuit design

  • Troubleshoot issues and improve performance

  • Watch their creations follow tracks autonomously

This challenge fostered teamwork, creativity, and confidence—bringing engineering concepts to life in a fun, memorable way.

A Day Where Innovation Met Integrity

On July 19, 2025, Aditya High School transformed into a hub of curiosity, collaboration, and creativity as 242 students came together for the Ethical Robotics Workshop led by Vishishta Innovators Pvt. Ltd. More than just a tech event, this workshop was a journey into the heart of ethical innovation—where wires, wheels, and wonder met questions of purpose, responsibility, and the future.

Learning the Science Behind the Machines

The day kicked off with an exciting introduction to robotics. Students explored core concepts through interactive sessions that combined engineering fundamentals with real-world relevance:

  • What is Robotics? – Understanding the role of robots in society

  • How DC Motors Work – Power, movement, and the basics of motion

  • Generators and Energy – A deep dive into electricity and conversion

  • Motors vs. Generators – Knowing the difference that makes a difference

  • Applications of Robotics – From smart homes to hospitals to industrial automation

Ethics in Robotics: Building with Purpose

In one of the most thought-provoking parts of the day, students paused to reflect on the ethical dimensions of technology. Through guided discussion, they tackled big questions:

  • Can robots be designed to serve humanity better?

  • What happens if we misuse powerful machines?

  • How do we ensure empathy stays at the center of innovation?

These conversations encouraged students to look beyond circuits and code—to see themselves as ethical architects of the future.

Hands-On Action: The Race Bot Challenge

Learning came alive with the Race Bot Challenge—a high-energy team activity where students built and raced their own line-following robots. From wiring the circuits to watching their bots blaze across the track, this activity was all about turning ideas into action.

Key skills developed:

  • Circuit design and problem-solving

  • Robot assembly and programming basics

  • Teamwork, testing, and iterative learning

The room buzzed with energy as students cheered on their creations—each bot a small but mighty symbol of learning in motion.

Expert Guidance & Support

The workshop was led by Mr. Sadu Sai Saandeep, Managing Director of Vishishta Innovators Pvt. Ltd., who brought both deep expertise and a strong passion for ethical innovation. He was joined by Mr. K. Kedharnadh, Electronics Engineer at Vishishta Innovators, whose demonstrations and one-on-one guidance significantly enriched the learning experience.

Powering the Day: The Volunteer Team

A dynamic team of volunteer interns ensured everything ran smoothly. From helping wire circuits to guiding discussions, they were the bridge between learning and doing.

Meet the heroes behind the scenes:

  • Mr. M. Devendra Kumar

  • Mr. E. Sanjay

  • Mr. J. Vedha Vignesh

  • Mr. A. Krishna Sai

  • Mr. D. Rohith

  • Mr. G. Venkat Sai

  • Ms. A. Lakshmi Tulasi

  • Mr. V. Gopinadh

Their energy, enthusiasm, and technical support were key to the day’s success.
