"Teaching the tech of tomorrow to the leaders of today at Vasavi English Medium High School—with 41 enthusiastic participants actively engaged in the workshop."

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the Ethical Robotics Workshop held at Vasavi English Medium School on June 23, 2025. Organized by Vishishta Innovators Pvt. Ltd., this workshop introduced students to the exciting world of robotics while emphasizing the importance of ethics in technology. The event was designed to give young learners a strong foundation in robotics and inspire them to innovate with responsibility and purpose.

Workshop Highlights

Comprehensive Curriculum

The workshop was thoughtfully structured to provide students with a foundational understanding of robotics, with a focus on real-world relevance and simplicity. The session introduced students to key electrical and mechanical concepts that form the building blocks of robotics.

Key topics discussed included:

  • What is robotics? – An introduction to robotics and its role in modern life

  • How Motors Work – Understanding the principle behind DC motors and their use in movement

  • Introduction to Generators – Basic concepts of electricity generation and energy conversion

  • Difference Between Motors and Generators – How energy is converted in both directions

  • Applications of Robotics – Everyday uses of robots in industries, homes, and services

The curriculum encouraged students to not only understand how robots function but also reflect on how they can be designed responsibly to benefit society.

Hands-On Learning: Building a RaceBot

One of the most engaging parts of the workshop was the RaceBot activity — a practical session where students built and tested simple line-following robots. This hands-on experience allowed them to:

  • Assemble basic robot kits

  • Understand circuit connections and wiring

Ethics in Robotics: Building with Care

Along with learning how robots work, students also discussed the importance of using technology in the right way. They were introduced to the idea that robots and AI should be helpful, fair, and safe for everyone.

The session included simple questions to think about, like:

  • How can robots be used to help people?

  • Why should we be careful about how we design machines?

  • What happens if technology is misused?

These discussions helped students understand that being a good innovator means not just building cool things — but also thinking about how those things affect the world around us.
