"76 students. Endless curiosity. One step closer to the future of robotics!"

We’re thrilled to share the success of the Ethical Robotics Workshop held at Yadav High School on June 25, 2025. Organized by Vishishta Innovators Pvt. Ltd., this dynamic event introduced students to the fascinating world of robotics while sparking conversations around ethical responsibility in technology. The workshop was crafted to ignite curiosity, build technical skills, and promote thoughtful innovation among young learners.

Workshop Highlights

Engaging and Practical Curriculum

The workshop featured a carefully designed curriculum that introduced students to key concepts in electronics, mechanics, and automation. The aim was to make complex ideas accessible through real-life examples and interactive learning.

Core topics included:

  • Introduction to Robotics – Understanding what robots are and their role in modern life

  • How Motors Work – Exploring how DC motors power robot movement

  • Basics of Generators – Learning how mechanical energy converts to electrical energy

  • Motors vs. Generators – Key differences and how they function

  • Robotics in the Real World – Everyday applications across industries and services

Students were encouraged to think not only about how robots are built—but also why and for whom they are built.

Building the RaceBot: A Hands-On Experience

One of the most exciting parts of the day was the RaceBot Challenge — where students assembled and tested basic line-following robots. This activity allowed participants to:

  • Build simple robot kits

  • Understand electronic circuit connections

  • Apply theory through practical experimentation

The energy in the room was electric as students brought their bots to life on the test track!

Ethics in Robotics: Designing with Purpose

Beyond just building, students explored ethical questions around technology. Through guided discussions, they examined how innovation should be guided by values like fairness, safety, and responsibility.

Some of the thought-provoking questions discussed:

  • In what ways can robots be used to improve people’s lives?

  • Why is it important to consider the impact of the machines we build?

  • What are the risks of misusing technology?

These conversations helped students see the bigger picture—innovation isn’t just about creating machines; it’s about shaping the future thoughtfully.
